Dr. Maryam Avin

Hi! I am Dr. Maryam Avin. I have been a life-long resident of Northern Virginia, attending Park View High School and continuing my education with a B.S. in Medical Technology from George Mason University. In pursuit of my passion, I received my Doctorate in Dental Surgery, D.D.S., at the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1999 where I was the recipient of multiple honors including the Latcham Medal for Excellence in complete oral operative restoration.

I believe in and am passionate about giving back to the community that I was raised in. My goal is to provide quality dental care for adults and children of all ages throughout our community and region. I hope to continue to work with passion and dedication to uphold my reputation as a gentle and conservative dental care provider. I promise to use my twenty plus years of experience to create an individualized life-long dental care plan for all of my patients. I always enjoy talking to my patients and doing my best to make a difference in their smiles, and their lives.

I attended both George Mason University and the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery with my husband, Dr. Hamid Avin, and together we have two wonderful children and a cockapoo! In my free time, I enjoy taking scenic walks and hikes, along with bike riding. I have participated in many fundraising events, including running and biking, raising awareness and funding for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
