Dr. Maryam Avin has been a life-long resident of Northern Virginia, attending Park View High School and continuing her education with a B.S. in Medical Technology from George Mason University. In pursuit of her passion, she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery, D.D.S., at the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1999 where she was the recipient of multiple honors including the Latcham Medal for Excellence in complete oral operative restoration.
She believes in and is passionate about giving back to the community where she was raised in. Her goal is to provide quality dental care for adults and children of all ages throughout the community and region. she hopes to continue to work with passion and dedication to uphold her reputation as a gentle and conservative dental care provider. she promises to use her twenty-plus years of experience to create an individualized life-long dental care plan for all her patients. She always enjoys talking to her patients and doing her best to make a difference in their smiles, and their lives.
In her free time, she enjoys taking scenic walks and hikes, along with bike riding. She has participated in many fundraising events, including running and biking, and raising awareness and funding for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
